Mission:

The mission of this mandate is to administer and maintain our customer’s database infrastructure. The job involves the physical implementation of the databases, taking into account security, compliance with integrity checks, performance monitoring and resource optimization, and processing user (customer) work requests.

Your role:

• Define the technical architecture of databases, data exchanges and
• data warehouses
• Implement backup and restore strategies
• Implement audit services and tools
• Design and implement database environments and ensure
  maintenance, availability and changes
• Manage database performance and optimize resource utilization
• Optimizing data management systems
• Design and implement data security controls
• Monitor user authentication and access to databases
• Identify and classify data according to degree of confidentiality
• Carry out unit tests; make adjustments based on feedback.
• In the event of a processing incident, ensure diagnosis and resolution.
• Provide support and expertise to the in-house team.
• Handle user requests (Dispatch)

Your profile:

• University Master’s degree in computer science or EPF/ HES engineering diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years’ experience as a BDD engineer
• Master the technology and administration of SQL Server databases from version 2016 onwards, as well as the Always-On architecture
• Master scripting for Windows and Unix environments
• Good experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical and physical models, data flow diagrams and implementation tools)
• Demonstrate method and rigor in database administration
• Master the technology and administration of PostgreSQL databases from version 12 upwards
• Master the technology and administration of Oracle databases from version 12 upwards
• Master the technology and administration of MariaDB databases from version 10 upwards
• Proven proficiency in Ansible or Salt
• ITIL and Microsoft certification

• Start date: October preferred but negotiable
• Teleworking: 2 days
• Residence: Switzerland or neighbouring France (Haute Savoie or Ain (Pays de Gex))
• Term: minimum 5 years, renewable thereafter
