Mission:
The infrastructure of the client headquarters supports a network of 1000 users across 3 sites in the Geneva region, with two WAN extensions internationally, connected via VPN over the internet.
This infrastructure comprises approximately 3000 managed servers, segmented into various security zones, and integrated into a VMware infrastructure. The “field” infrastructure includes over a thousand servers supporting approximately 18000 users worldwide.
Overall, the infrastructure encompasses more than 300 sites connected through a WAN, protected by active elements such as firewalls, authentication servers, proxies, and reverse proxies. This network is constantly evolving and requires advanced daily management.
The evolution and changes to the network infrastructure and its security are managed by a team of specialists within the Network Product.
Your role :
- The rapid technical advancements and evolving demands necessitate bolstering
operational security management. - In this regard, we would like to benefit from the support of a security specialist.
- The non-exhaustive tasks to be covered during this period include:
o Implementation of IT security rules for server environments and new applications.
o Participation in the evolution of security in the domains of infrastructure and application architecture of information systems (IS).
o Support for networking (LAN/MAN/WAN/WLAN) and related security.
o Strong understanding of complex 3-tier web platform architecture.
o Establishment and maintenance of IS security processes.
o Implementation of changes to network and security infrastructure as per Project requests.
o Support in resolving application problems related to networking and security.
o Integration of new applications into the existing environment, applying defined policies.
o Implementation of changes to ICT infrastructure as per Project requests.
o Adaptation of management tools, verification of operations in collaboration with the operations team.
o Documentation of environments and processes.
o Management of defined issues.
o Assistance to Support and Operations teams.
Your profile:
- Higher education in computer science or telecommunications.
- Additional training in network security.
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written French and English.
- Confirmed L3 experience in managing LAN & WAN, WLAN networks.
- Knowledge of LAN and SD-WAN solutions.
- Proficiency in Fortinet solutions.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in networks and security.
- Experience in authentication mechanisms like ADFS, Kerberos, etc.
- Experience in anti-spam, anti-virus, web access security, SMTP Gateway, web application firewall.
- Excellent understanding of network protocols, Firewall rules, and network security best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft environments: AD, ADFS.
- Knowledge of VMWare NSX solution.
- Knowledge of MS Azure Cloud services.
- Familiarity with F5 Big-IP solutions
